Reenacting and Living History Events
I've has been re-enacting for over 20 years. From 1986 to 1993 I worked up at the Ren. Faire and Summer Marketplace in Oswego, New York, but since I've moved out to the Midwest, my current joy has been Wild West re-enacting and have been doing it since 1997!
I am an active memeber in a Reenactment Group called, "The Kishwaukee Valley Vigilance Committee" located in Rockford, IL. We preform in at various locations in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin
I am currently involved with a Golden Age of Pyracy group called, "The Crewe of the Archangel" - We reenact all social classes of people during this time period. Everyone from the Ship's Captain to the lowly laundress of the town.
We have been lucky to have performed in several period inspired independant films. My interest is mostly in English History and Victorian Attire, so I search the board quite frequently for items of these time periods.

Like any good 'time traveler' I love sewing clothing from different time periods. I also make various other items, such as period hats and handbags too! I have done time periods from the 1580's up to 1940's (Ren Faire to WWII) .
Just take a look at some of the other things I have gotten myself into...literally!
