As a child, I spent every holiday in small town Mississippi at Nana and Papa’s house. The celebration of each holiday began with a picture taken on the front porch of the old family home. Rocking chairs, wicker furniture, pink azaleas, and luscious ferns were the backdrop for each photograph.

Every holiday dress I wore as a little girl is captured forever on that one front porch. My only daughter did not have the luxury of living in a small Southern town. Instead, she traveled the country as Dad was transferred from city to city. I did make a point to dress her in a classic, traditional, personalized outfit for each and every holiday, but rarely had the opportunity to revisit the old front porch for a photograph.

After a career in teaching, an empty nest, and time on my hands, I found myself often reminiscing about darling little girls and boys pristinely dressed and celebrating important events in their lives on a large wrap-around porch.

Special occasions in a child’s life is my primary focus from birthdays to Easter to Halloween and Christmas and every special occasion in between. Each outfit is made individually, not mass-produced, by talented seamstresses in the USA. Each outfit is appliquéd or monogrammed to your specifications and is made especially for your little one. Attention is paid to detail resulting in a finely finished garment that you will cherish forever.
