Cherylamie's CreationsThank you for Coming!A few short words about myself I love sculpting small tiny creatures. Watching them come alive in my hands makes it hard to part with them. Most of my fairies come with removable props so they can be played with, or displayed in different places. I have been working with clay for more than a dozen years. I am Vice President of the Prince George and District Doll and Teddy Club Polymer Clay Classes are held in my home. In August (2000) I taught "Sculpting the Bodies of my Itty Bitty Babies "at the international Polymer Clay conference," Ravensdale" held in Washington state In the spring 2003 Issue of Dolls in Miniature is an article I wrote on Sculpting the body of an Itty bitty Baby. My work has been featured in Victoria Hughes book "Polymer the Chameleon Clay" and in Dottie McMillian's "Creative Ways with Polymer Clay"I make and sell molds for faces as well as written instructions and pictures or a DVD or CD movie for sculpting little bitty bodies on my web page,( http://ctrottier.tripod.com ) ( please note these are not used in the ooak's I sell where each one is individually sculpted). I am a member of the Canadian online group " Clayamies " with whom we share our clay experiences with. That is where I started the nickname Cherylamie in order to differentiate myself from another Cheryl on the list. With a last name like Trottier the french word for friend works great!! I tend to make a large variety of things as am always developing new and innovative ideas. The Planets and Fractal's, seen on my web site, have been fun to develop and create. I also sculpt some furry friends. Otters and ferrets, and panda's too Creatively yours Cherylamie (Cheryl Trottier) . |
