My selling philosophy on E-Bay is that I put myself in the place of the buyer. I treat buyers the way I would want to be treated. I have bought many items on Ebay and while there are some excellent sellers we all know there are some real bad ones too. This is what I expect as a buyer and what I give as a seller: I expect an honest item description. I DESCRIBE MY ITEMS ACCURATELY AND HONESTLY . You can rest assured you will get just what you expected or more when my package arrives at your door. If you take a long look at my feedback you'll see "as described" or "better than I expected" is a common theme, I know what a turd looks like and I won't try to sell you one by calling it a gold nugget. If I sel l you a turd, I tell you it's a turd. (and I don't sell many of those!!)I expect payment options I ACCEPT PAYPAL, CHECKS OR MONEY ORDER. Yes it does cost the seller some coin to accept Paypal, but while "horse and buggy" seller is counting the pennies he saved by only taking money orders, and your item sits gathering dust, I've already provided my customer with a fast secure payment method and shipped the product. I expect feedback immediately after my payment is received. When you pay me, your part of the transaction has ended. Why do some sellers wait until after you leave them feedback before returning the favor? It kind of makes you nervous doesn't it. Does the seller have something he's worried about with the sale? I don't. I WILL LEAVE YOU FEEDBACK AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED!! There is no need for me to hold your feedback "hostage". I know you'll be satisfied with the transaction so I have no fear of giving you good feedback when you deserve it. It's too bad most sellers are afraid to do this. . When you want to know how my buyers feel, look at the good remarks they leave for me. I expect fast shipping. When you buy an item from me, I WILL DO MY BEST TO SHIP WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS AND SOMETIMES THE SAME DAY PAYMENT IS RECEIVED! ! I don't sit on your money for a week before shipping your item. Many of my items are sent Priority (when reasonable) and arrive in a few days rather than weeks. I have the some of the fastest shipping on E-Bay. I expect my item to be packaged properly. I've seen too many sellers using the old "chuck it in a box and ship it" method. I WILL PACK YOUR ITEM APPROPRIATELY so that the item you buy looks and operates the same when it gets to you as it did when I sent it. There you have it. It's simple. It's basic. It's called "GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE" and it is a dying art form. Now....like the masses on E BAY like to say...........Bid with CONFIDENCE!!!! . A little about "Chiefwolf". There was 5 of us kids and we always called my Dad the "Chief" and with my last name Wolf we came up with "chiefwolf". I love ebay! I was born on May 20th 1957 and worked in the sheet metal business for over 25 years until the plant I worked at moved to Mexico at the end of 2005. I have always said that there is a reason for everything and its so happens that my Dad who is now 77 had lung cancer surgery and then chemotherapy about a year ago now and I am now able to stay home, spend time with him and help take care of him. My Mom passed away in August of 2004 so it's just my Dad, my 18 year old son and myself. Ebay started out as a hobby selling a beer sign collection after my first divorce and now allows me to work at home and spend time with my father. My parents should go down in history as the best parents ever! I will keep my eyes open for some cool items! I would like to thank all of my customers and fellow Ebayers for such a pleasurable experience!January 20th 08 update: My Dad isn't doing real well and it looks like the road trips we were planning in early 2008 wont be happening. My Dad was just diagnosed with Leukemia. Hopefully he will be with us for a while, but it sound like it is pretty advanced. I will know more in about a week. Jan 26th update: My Dad starts Chemotherapy on Moday 1-28. Will all of Ebay friends please say a prayer for my Dad!
