Thank you for taking the time to look at our "about me" page.

Ours is a true Mom & Pop business.

Our office is located in our home in Lockwood California, (population 207) about 25 miles from the coast, halfway between Los Angles and San Francisco, Ca.

I, Linda Garwood manage the finances, eBay sales, and our web site.
I have just discovered a new passion; hunting for bargain clothes for our first Granddaughter, now 18 months old
Bill, my husband just retired from 32 years active duty in the military.
He helps find items for us to sell, shipping, and has recently resurrected a life long passion for photography. We hope to have some of his work up for sale shortly.

What's in a name?

Back in 1993 when we were trying to decide on a name, for our business, the one thing we were sure of is the fact that we wanted to be diverse in our endeavors. Hence the name Chimera Distributors.

What is a Chimera? The most common definition is: "A mystical beast."
We prefer the botany reference. - In short, it is a single entity made up of separate, yet distinctive parts.

Why Distributors? - Everyone on the internet is distributing “something”.
