Hi, I Chrissie, thank you for stopping by!! At Chrissie Creations I make all sorts of unusual tie dye creations. If you can dream it up, I can probably make it for you. I have a fascination for 70 things; colorful things.... flowers, tie dye, Hookah, smiley faces, peace signs, anything designed to make people smile.
About Me:
I started making tie dye shoelaces because the ones I currently owned were worn out, and after searching for weeks I couldn find a new pair ANYWHERE!! I wasn about to let that stop me, I quite attached to, and am known for wearing my colorful laces, even my old people love m! My husband Ron told me I should try making my own, so I did and now I hooked!! I love to play with colors and patterns to create new designs and textures. I also make socks and aprons and baseball hats, bucket hats, handbags, pillowcases.... whatever I can find that's tyedyable.. (is that a word? lol) I also am getting quite good at creating saltwater aquariums, if you live in my area, I can help you set up and learn to care for YOUR saltwater or freshwater tank.
By day, I have the BEST job in the world!! I am a Home Health Aide/CNA/RMA, I get to love and care for mostly elderly people (some disabled) in their homes. I am back in college working on my bachelors in Science/Nursing, so forgive me if some days I don't have time to work on laces I've sold as quickly as I would like :)
I have 3 youngUns, a son 20, and 2 girls 12 & 14. My AWESOME husband, kids and I live in a small, peaceful town in Indiana, close to Cincinnati, Ohio. I have many hobbies, including drawing, writing, playing guitar and singing, playing pool ( I got to play Mike Massey once and I actually WON!! Wheee) & playing corn hole; a game that was created by Hoosiers...(yes I do tie dye corn hole bags as well).
Mostly I enjoy Summer and kicking back and enjoying life with my friends and family, grill outs and guitars n drums by the campfire etc. My husband and I both ride our own motorcycles and are members of the HVL Motorcycle Club, what a great group!! I also have a wide variety of musician friends who are loads of fun. I'm kind of a cold sissie in the winter though... brrr, you can usually find me curled up in my chair being a couch potato with my Tivo remote in one hand and a cold Dr Pepper in the other!!
I am an easygoing VERY mellow and laid back country girl; I like things simple and easy (no time for drama or chaos please), and I LOVE to laugh... that's the secret ingredient to staying young!!
