My Angel

     As a young girl, my father taught me a little about woodworking. I quickly developed a love for working with wood. I love the feel of wood, and especially the smell. In 1988, a friend who owned a woodworking business making country furniture taught me how to build stepback cupboards, chimney cupboards, pie safes, jelly cupboards, and other large furniture pieces. I worked for a while with a furniture company building furniture, and also doing finish work. Through the years I have managed to build a reputation as a top notch finisher. I do a real antique look finish, and am able to make the finish look old with only slight shine, or with a glossy patina.

     I sell my handmade items on eBay, and recently opened my own website. I take pride in producing a top quality product for a reasonable price, and am sure that my products will become a treasured part of your home. I have customers that have told me they still have dolls that they bought from me 15 years ago, and they still love them. One woman bought a doll for her mother and says that the doll is still one of her mother's favorite gifts from her. It is hearing how much my dolls are treasured that gives me the inspiration to keep creating.
