CIE Surplus is a full service asset liquidation and conversion company located in Berryville, northern Virginia. We have developed a highly optimized system of redistributing excess goods across multiple electronic channels, most notably eBay, in an attempt to make sure excess, surplus, but still usable goods get reused.

We specialize in the resale of business/industrial, medical, lab, pharmaceutical, and electronic equipment, and have tailored our work process to maximize the asset's conversion value, as well as the efficiency of redistribution. We currently have about a dozen employees sorting, cleaning, repairing, inventorying, and shipping well over 1000 unique items, big and small, every month, and our capacity to do more continues to grow.

Much of the equipment we receive can't be reused or resold, so we strip that equipment into its recyclable components and do our part to make sure those components get reused elsewhere. We recycle thousands of pounds of scrap metal every week.

We often see perfectly working excess equipment sit stagnant, unable to get redirected to someone who could use it.
