Linen backing can dramatically improve the overall appearance of a poster and it can substantially increase its value. It is the preferred archival method used when conserving and/or restoring a poster. Almost any flaw can be fixed so you would never know it was there. Fold lines can be made almost completely undetectable!

BEWARE OF "FAKE" MOVIE POSTERS!!
There are bootlegs, reprints, re-strikes, re-issues, etc. all over ebay. WE DO NOT SELL THESE! There are many unscrupulous dealers who successfully pass off these posters as originals. They are almost indistinguishable from originals, only experts can tell. Many who buy them don't know they have been taken, only years later when they sell them do they find out they are worthless. Most bootlegs are from popular movies from the 70's and 80 like Star Wars, Jaws, Taxi Driver, Blade Runner, Raiders of the Lost Ark etc. They usually appear in insert size 14 x 36 although one sheets also exist. These posters can be found from dealers who seem trustworthy because of their great feedback. Again, all we can say is BEWARE!!
