Civil War Re-enactor and Collector and CW History Nut
I classify myself as the un- official historian of the 12th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry 1862-1865. I have been collecting relics from that regiment for a very long time and I'm also interested in New Jersey civil war relics in general. PLEASE get in touch with me if you have something from those groups that you want to part with. I buy and sell other military items, but mostly civil war.
Re-enacting the 12th New Jersey
I guess you could say that I'm obsessed with the civil war. I'm the captain of the South Jersey based 12th NJ. We have over 90 men on our rolls and a ladies auxillary with about 40 members. Wanna get involved? Just E-mail me and I'll fill you in on what you have to do. If you're not in this area and would like to get involved in civil war re-enacting, I can help you find a regiment near your area. Even Confederate.
I also am interested in Civil War Music. I am a member of "The Libby Prison Minstrels" a 5 piece Civil War musical group from the South Jersey area. We play concerts all across the the eastern US. Our variety of instrumentation and musical styles are fastly becoming a popular force in Civil War Music. If you are interested in that, contact me through ebay and I will send you information on how to hire us for your musical event. We have a 2 CDs and it is available for only $14.95 which includes shipping. Some of the songs are, Marching Through Georgia, Shenandoah, and The Battle Cry of Freedom.
