I started listing items on E-Bay to help me earn extra cash while I completed a life-goal -- my Master's in Information Technology -- finished in May 2005. Now I'm working so much - that I don't get to do this as much any more. I don't get to log on to my personal account every day - so please be patient with me... After a long day on the computer at work - it's not something I do every evening.
When I am selling - please know that I won't list an item I wouldn't buy myself. If I see anything wrong with the item - it will be in the description. If you find a problem I didn't mention- let me know - and we'll work something out (I'm human -- and occasionally miss something.) I've found some great things on eBay --- and gotten to know some interesting people along the way. In all my encounters - I've only met up with two nasty people - so the odds are pretty good that your experiences will be good as well. Be honest - send emails when you have questions - and answer the emails you are sent as quickly as you can - and we'll get along great.
My two daughters (now 13 and 16) have been the benefactors of many of my purchases. I've bought makeup for their dance studio's competitive team, formal dresses for special occasions, and lots of music and dvd's.
My best friend and I share a common love of sewing/quilting. (She lives in New Jersey/Vermont and I live in North Carolina. We meet once a year at a quilting conference - and send each other fabric, tools, patterns --- so E-Bay is feeding our quilting fever(s) as well.) She can get into NYC and send me special fabrics, trims, rhinestones for dance costumes and I have access to some of the mill towns where thread and cotton fabrics are still produced/dyed or finished. Her access helped me produce over 50 unique dance costumes for our studio's first performance this fall. Hopefully, I will not have to make that many more before we perform additional numbers in the spring. I can't quilt and sew that much at the same time - and I sure did miss the quilting time!
