About Me
Hi!
Thank you for stopping by.
My name is Patty, and I am the Claydybug behind Claydybug Creations.
I am a proud Navy wife and mom to three boys.
I began working with polymer clay over 20 years ago
making accessories for my mom's miniature business.
About eight years ago, my husband asked me
(more like he challenged me)
to create a figure of a sailor. He lit the spark...
When a friend saw the figure, she commissioned me to create one of her husband,
and that began my journey into portraiture.
Sculpting babies and fairies was my newest undertaking.
Starting back in June 2003, it was yet another addiction.
I am self-taught but have been influenced by a some of the greatest clay artists.
Always looking for new techiques to use with polymer clay, I look forward to grow as an artist. .

About My Work
Each piece I create is hand sculpted clay without the use of molds,
making each piece a one of a kind creation.
The smallest details are either painstakingly hand painted or made of clay.
A lot of care, time and patience is
been put forth to create each OOAK piece of art.
Again, I do not use molds, therefore each piece is truly one of a kind
and comes with a signed Certificate Of Authenticity.
