Welcome to Jim's classic photography
I've been described as a photo nut...sometimes just a bit off, but what the heck! Photography is a passion of mine; So much, that I've been running a part-time photography business at kcimagecrafters.com with my partner, and also do independent contract for hire jobs on the side.

Why film, and why classic cameras?
Although I shoot DSLR for the paying gigs, I really enjoy working with vintage and classic cameras...sometimes digital is too perfect and I really want the effects that various vintage cameras can produce. I clean and repair every camera I get to the best of my ability and offer the extras up for auction periodically. I mainly work with older 35mm, 127 and 120/620 film cameras; Mostly Kodak Brownies and Soviet cameras. (ever run 120 slide film through a brownie twin 20?...very cool!)
