Some of my work

I am a daughter of an artist and an electrical engineer, and grew up immersed in art & inventiveness, so I learned to love color and shape, and to put them together in different forms from fabric arts to stitchery, beadwork, polymer clay, pixel-wrangling, and more.
I have been beading since the early 90s. I enjoy taking traditional techniques and designs, then make a ?left turn? and see what happens. Sometimes techniques learned from other crafts can be adapted to beadwork in an interesting way. I have had my work featured in Bead & Button Magazine (Dec. 2000), three pieces were selected as finalists for the Gleaming Treasures competitions at Embellishment (2001 & 2002), and ?Following My Mewse? was published in 2004 in the book ?500 Beaded Objects?.
Polymer Clay Is such a fun and versatile medium. My dragons all have such fun personalities, and I love creating faux stones and cabochons, and unique faces.
I also create digital art from my photos and other elements, for notecards and framed pieces.
