I used to pack up my stuff and take it to antique and collectible markets and I ran my own collectible market for several years.  I conducted Estate Sales from 1994 through 2008 and then I found eBay.   I remember fondly, the days back in 1998 and early 1999 when eBay was the absolute best place to get top dollar for items.  Now it's a great buyer's market.

I sell a lot of items for people who hear about my eBay experience.  I think I had one of the very early eBay "drop off stores".   Selling for other people means I always have a lot of variety and I rarely get bored doing the same old thing.  I never know what I'll be listing next.

Have fun on eBay.  Do your homework and read about the sellers.  Check their feedback and make sure you read auction descriptions.  There are some experienced sellers who lie about their experience, personal or business, and lie about even their shipping arrangements.

It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all, but if you pay attention you can get great items for great prices and deal only with great sellers.  Some of us could be Power Sellers but choose not to sign on.

 Finally, make sure that if you commit to paying for something, you follow through.
