I started collecting coins when I was about eight years old. Remember, this was when a weekly allowance might be $5!
My Dad used to take me to the shows on weekends and we would enjoy the time spent. Unfortunately, I lost interest when I was chastised for cleaning my Indian Head Penny set and, to quote a wise man, "ruining" them. Well, 26 years passed and I was brought back into the fold, so to speak, by a friend who dragged me to a coin show. I was hooked again!
What now for me?
I've really gotten back into collecting with a vengeance, and now have discovered the fun of E-Baying. I'm collecting most U.S. Coin series', but my Favorite is the Walking Liberty Halves. Hope you find my items for sale interesting. Two of my favorite items sold are shown below. They were from my Childhood Collection that I'm slowly selling to make way for the Adult Collection.
