Unbelieveably Tidy

I started collecting coins over 40 years ago, when I found an old coin with my toes under the surface of a lake! I am generally inerested in world coinage and paper money, and specialize in Chinese and Asian coins and currencies. I am becoming more interested in Indian and Iranian issues. I have worked on the 2 major Asian collections in Vancouver, the 1800 piece coin, paper money, and token collection of the Vancouver Museum, and the 3000 piece coin and charm collection of the University of British Columbia. I have catalogued them both, done displays for the Vancouver Museum, and written a catalogue to go with the 1050 piece "Handfuls of Cash" display, which I curated.I have been a dealer in numismatics for about 10 years now. I started with my own coins, and was given a collection to dispose of. I enjoyed it- I met people that were as crazy as I was, and I have continued. I am now semi-retired, and would like to make a living with the things I enjoy, so here I am.
I must mention that I am a member of several different numismatic groups. The one I enjoy the most is Coin Community, at http://www.coincommunity.com. They are really friendly, and have some incredibly knowledgeable people. Try them out!
