Miko, my rescued Shih Tzu, who came into my life just before Simon passed away.

At 58 years old, having lived in many places and had numerous and interesting jobs, I have managed to collect an incredible amount of stuff!!  AND, being the pack rat that I am, there are quite a few times that people literally DO say, "WOW! I can't believe you have that!"  I am a fan of STAR TREK and reguarly attend conventions (no, I don't dress up!), along with other Sci Fi and Pop Culture conventions.  I'm an avid reader and was assistant manager of a book store for several years, so I have more books than I can EVER read in a lifetime!  I buy a variety of  things from my favorite Hallmark store, Elaine's in Boynton Beach, FL. and put some of them on ebay.  That's why you'll see a variety of ornaments and other Hallmark items from time to time!! :)

I am an AVON representative because not only are their products great, but they were the first major cosmetics company to staop all testing on animals.  I support animal rights causes, environmental protection causes and have been involved in animal rescue & adoption for years.  I am the lucky guardian of 4 rescued cats and 1 rescued dog, and have a pet sitting business!  My wonderful cat, Simon (R.I.P.), never left my side as I recouped from my 2nd bout with cancer, and I thoroughly believe that my animals play a huge part in my emotional and mental well-being.  :)
