Cole's Army Surplus SGT. CHESTY Cole's is a family owned business located in San Angelo, Texas. Our doors have been open since 1959. Our "Grandpapa", Claude Cole, started the business back then. In 1968, Ronnie Cole opened his own stores in 3 area towns. In 1980, Ronnie bought the San Angelo store and it has been growing strong ever since. Ronnie Cole is the corporation's president. His son, Taylor Cole, is the store's manager. We are in our 3rd generation and training the 4th! Our inventory has changed over the years. We are no longer straight military surplus, although it is still a large part of what we do. In recent years we have added "Ski Cole's Mountain & Outdoor". We focus on ski wear and snow sports in the winter (yes, we do a lot of ski wear business in West Texas) and kayaking has become our big summer sport. Our store is very diverse. You can find military P-38's, MRE's, BDU's, military insignia (current and vintage), and all other types of militaria. We also have an extensive line of camping equipment: tents, sleeping bags, canopy systems, tarps, etc. Our outdoor line includes hiking, repelling, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, etc. Law Enforcement has also become a part of our store with tactical gear for both military and various law enforcement agencies. We have a great line of tactical clothing as well as gear like handcuffs, tactical keys, and various pouches for gear. Geo Cachers have a field day in our store! Recently, we had our ebay debut and it has been fabulous. What we have to offer has been well received. We are adding new items daily.
