We sell vintage automobiles, parts and collectibles. We are currently putting up a 10,000 plus collection of vintage advertising in our store.
We are a web based business only now, we closed out Temple, TX location in 2007.
Vintage advertising offers a wonderful look back into the history of our culture. Though ours focuses on Automobiles, we offer other things like clothing, liquor, TV, Movie, or just cultural stuff. All of our ads are originals so they are 20-80 years old! (Beware of reproductions! Not only are they worthless, they're illegal)
We are starting to assign some "Terms" for certain things. As we ad more, we will update this page, if you read "About Me" pages, you get to know things that no one else does and can feel vastly superior to them!
Glossary of Terms
- BSG - This is a "Back Seat Girl". It is probably not a mistake that very often when an attractive model is pictured with a car, she is sitting in the back seat. BSG in an auction identifies these ads.
- GIT - This is a "Girl in Trunk". More popular than you would think though I'm not sure why. (This always reminds me of the Bevis and Butthead comments on the Lenny Kravitz video. "Hey look, he's got a spare chick in the trunk!" "When I get a car, I want a spare chick in the trunk"
- GOH - This is a "Girl on Hood". Though none doing cartwheels as in a Whitesnake Video.
- SOP - This is not the military version. This means "Scared Old People". A hip way to show you are "Cool" is when you disturb the elderly.
- RCD - This is a "Really Cheesy Dude". Self Explanatory.
- GBG - This is a Gratuitous Bikini Girl. A girl in a bikini when there is really no reason to be dressed that way
- LWA - Nothing says my item is great like a Large Wild Animal.

A note about shipping vintage ads-
These items are paper, and are 30-80 years old. We want to offer both maximum protection for your order, and reliable tracking to insure it arrives.
All our vintage ads are shipped with extra protection on the inside, and clearly marked DO NOT BEND on the outside.
