We try to avoid single transactions for one small $9 item since the time involved to process an order of this size costs us twice that amount.

We do have limits on the number of ebay auctions any one buyer can execute. It is cheaper for everyone if you request all your items in one ebay listing. We do this to save you money because when a seller pays ebay fees the buyer most certainly will pay the fees in the end since fees are built into the item price with any seller who has basic math skills.

We usually do not offer the best offer feature through ebay. We arrive at our price by taking initial cost then adding a few bucks to pay the bills then we add in the ebay fees which are now between 5% and 12% . So unless you can call ebay and get them to waive their fees on the ebay listing you are looking at there is probably not much we can do to an ebay listing to reduce the ebay price.

We have been getting lots of calls from customers trying to make a living at restoring cars in a high pressure situation. We dont want to be part of your mistake. Please slow down plan ahead and dont be impatient. We are extremely fast in most cases but we will not do business with extremely impatient buyers.

Below are some helpful hints to a fun stress-free restoration. 

Buying from auctions that have free shipping costs you more money. ebay reccomends to sellers to offer free shipping by adding in the cost of shipping with the item. This costs the seller more in fees which in the end costs you more money.  If you are buying multiple items than can be shipped together you do not get a financial benefit since the shipping cost is built into the item price. This is good for sellers but bad for buyers.

Buy parts from an established seller who has a good feedback rating. A pattern of negative feedback from established buyers will show you a track record of not caring. We get many phone calls every day from buyers asking us to fix problems and mistakes other sellers have made. All we can say is "you should have bought from us instead of trying to save $10."

Even though Columbia Parts will usually ship items the next business day after payment has arrived we still recommend ordering your parts at least 20-30 days before you actually need them since "stuff" happens with all sellers big and small. This means plan your project accordingly, do not wait until the last minute to order your parts.

When buying through ebay make sure to voice your concerns or special delivery requirements before bidding not after winning an auction.

We ship items in a conveyor belt fashion for speed and accuracy. This means we need to ship everyones items the same way. If we must proceed with your transaction differently everyones order will be delayed and that is not fair, so we ask that you allow us to ship your item the way we ship items for everyone else.
