My name is Colyn Goodson. I've been an eBay member since July 19, 1999 and deal mainly in cameras and photo accys. I hunt yard sales and auctions for most of the items I sell here.
Please read before placing a bid or purchasing through BIN
Lately eBay has been infiltrated by people who do not read item descriptions or they do not read my response to their questions before purchasing the item (such as the person who left negative feedback to me). Many of these buyers don’t even know how to use what they are buying so they demand their money back under threat of leaving negative feedback (feedback extortion). It is the responsibility of the buyer to know full well what he/she is buying before placing their bid and since I give an accurate description I do not give refunds.
My hobby
I have used Leicas and Minoltas for over 40 years and find these cameras to be some of the best made. My cameras are the Leica M3, M4, and M5 as well as several screwmount versions including the IIIc and IIIf as well as a number of vintage lens. My Minolta lineup consists of the XE-7, XD-11, SRT-series, and XK and several Minolta Rokkor-X lens. My preference is the so called "Orange Rokkor's". These lens are marked "Rokkor-X" with orange paint and were manufactured during Leica's association with Minolta.
High contrast photo of a hundred year old barn.
Leica IIIc and 50mm f/2 Summitar on Kodak Tech Pan film. This barn is located near my parents home in Northeast Texas. I had driven past it many times and never thought to photograph it. Tech Pan film is an excellent film for shooting high contrast photos.
Car show.
Car show at the Fort Worth, Texas stockyards. Minolta XD-11 and 35-70mm f/3.5 Rokkor lens on Fuji Superia X-tra 200.
Praise: Working vintage camera as described. Excellent packing.
