Hours of Operation
Our normal business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time Monday through Friday. We will reply to all emails sent to us over the weekend on the following Monday.
Damage Policy
Occasionally products are damaged in shipment. We fully insure all of our shipments and if a delivery is damaged, we will gladly replace the product or give you a refund for the full amount of the merchandise. You should immediately inspect the delivery for shipping damage and CONTACT US WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY AT 1-800-297-6076 (Excluding holidays and weekends) to report any damage. If you do not contact us within the 48 hour time-frame, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the shipping company. Sometimes damage from shipment may not be visible, so it is very important that YOU CAREFULLY CHECK FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL DAMAGE. If the damage is obvious, you should refuse the delivery and note the damage on the shipment Bill of Lading and call us at 1-800-297-6076 to arrange a return of the damaged unit and to have a replacement product shipped to you. Once we are contacted within 48 hours of delivery, we will have the shipping company return to the delivery location to pick up the damaged product. Please make sure that the product is in its original packaging, with all manuals, parts and accessories and available and ready for the pick-up attempt in order to avoid delays and possible cancellation of the pick-up. Please note that the shipping companies operating on our behalf will only make one attempt at pick-up. Thereafter, any subsequent pick-ups may be at the expense of the customer. Once we have received the damaged unit back at our warehouse, we will immediately ship the replacement product. Returns Policy
Most products may be returned for any reason within the first
30 days after delivery. Returned products must be in a new, fully functional, and undamaged condition, and must include the original box, packing materials, manuals, and accessories. All returns must have a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). Returns related to orders that included free shipping will be subject to a 15% restock fee. SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AND THE PURCHASER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF THE RETURN SHIPPING. All returns will be inspected and Compact Appliance.com reserves the right to adjust the refund on the return depending upon the condition of the returned product.
Portable air conditioners, portable air coolers, and heaters may be returned for any reason within the first 15 days after they were delivered provided they are in new, fully functional, and undamaged condition, and include the original box, packing materials, manuals, and accessories.
Portable generators may be returned within the first 15 days only if they have not been used. We will not accept returns for portable generators once they have been filled with gas or oil.
Returns must be shipped to us by using the same means of transportation as the product was delivered to you. You would need to contact us at 1-877-512-9724 to obtain an Return Authorization Number (RA #) prior to returning your product so that we can process your return. All unauthorized returns will be refused at the time of delivery and no credit will be issued.
Defective Products
Your satisfaction is our top priority. The products we sell carry the manufacturers warranty and all product defects would go through the manufacturer. We can assist you with contacting the manufacturer if you have any problems but the warranty is ultimately the manufacturers responsibility.

Returns: You can return an item within the first 14 days from the time you have recieved it. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges will be your responsibility. Returns must be shipped to us using the same means of transportation with which they were delivered to you. You would need to contact us at 1-877-512-9724 to obtain an Return Authorization Number (RA #) prior to returning your product so that we can process your return. All unauthorized returns will be refused at the time of delivery and no credit will be issued. Products must be returned in their NEW original condition as shipped from the manufacturer. Boxes, packing materials, wrappers, cartons, instruction manuals, warranty cards and products must be in their original condition without markings, tape, folds, or defacing. Products returned in other than new condition will be returned to the customer without exchange. All unauthorized returns will be refused at delivery with no credit issued. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Damages:
Please unpack and inspect the unit while the shipper is present. If the product has been damaged, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately. We will gladly exchange your product free of charge. If you do not inspect the item upon delivery, or choose to keep the damaged item, replacement parts will be sent to you at no charge. Please call us ASAP at 877-512-9724 to set up a return for a damaged product.
