What is control voltage?
The name controlvoltage is derived from a system of regulated electric voltages, used to control analog music synthesizers previous to MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) and computers. By utilising these control voltages by way of various attentuators, an operator could reduce or allow modulations to occur to the audio signal as it travelled through the various modules of the synthesizer. This system was called 'voltage control'. To me 'controlvoltage' simply represented an interest and a unique name.
Who is controlvoltage?
I have many hobbies and interests including the afformentioned analog synthesisers, which I've used in the making of electronic music.
