It's swell!

HELLO! Glad you're here! I'll leave the blinds open a bit, so you can peek, if you're into that sort of thing

This page tells a little bit about me....and depending on your personal context, you may wish I was, or glad that I'm not your neighbor. If you're a MRS. GLADYS KRAVITZ-type of personality by all means, keep reading! A Neighborhood Watch could be in danger if you don't!!

He / She / It ???
I am FEMALE. That snooty looking, righteous, full of himself, pipe-smokin' guy you see as my avatar on the eBay boards, or when you click on my ME page (the image in the upper right corner). It is not me. The whole thing started when I first opened my eBay store COOL JUNK (the name may sound familiar to you).

The pipe-smoking dude is from a 50s era LIFE magazine advertisement that my MIL sent to me. Mr. Pipe Smoker said, (and still does) "It's Swell!" The tag line for my store was "Honey, I need this....with a picture of the complacent looking wifey giving her best smile to hubby, while sporting her freshest apron and "every day" pearl necklace.

Buying & Selling Used Books
I worked in the market of on-line book selling for nearly 3 years, solo. Worked with another seller for 5 years. I wrote this to help out those buying or selling: Used Book Guide I included common terms, abbreviations, and classification. Also, what you should expect from a buyer, and how to be a better seller. You may find some useful goodies here.

The World Clock application lets you know the local time in a variety of other countries. Very helpful if you post/sell to international markets. Customize for region(s) of your choice. Easy step-by-steps to accomplish this. When complete, it will appear in a separate window.
