kennys about me page~*~
Thanks for stopping by fellow passengers in
time. My name's kenny and I love collecting and trading old US currency. I think it's so
interesting and an excellent way to look at our US history. I served in the United States Navy
as a radioman onboard USS Waddell DDG-24. I made two westpac's to the middle east and far east, and it was amazing how
every country we came to would take their own national currency, or US currency. Unlike other countries money, our money
is accepted anywhere on the planet, that's awesome to me, and the fact that TWO-THIRDS of all US currency is used OUTSIDE
the US is amazing. I always do my best
to show and tell exactly what you'll get. I use a super nice Canon high resolution scanner. To me, the notes look much better and
prettier in hand than they do in these high res scans. These high res scans show every little thing, things you don't really see with
the naked eye. I buy the latest books...Whitman,
Blackbook, Coin worlds Paper Money Values...etc, research online, and try to give a little history about the currency I put
up for auction. I usually only buy higher grade notes, unless there's something special about a specific note. I'm no professional
currency dealer or anything like that, I just really love studying and looking at old US money. The majority
of my auctions will be for United States currency,
but from time to time I'll have auctions for other cool things I find.
I am not a store, I have a regular job, this is just a hobby so I usually only do three or four auctions a week so I can take my time and do them the
best I can, I work very hard on my auctions to give you large clear scans and information so there is never a misunderstanding.
My auctions usually start/end tuesday nights.
I ship my currency with rigid cardboard inside a padded envelope or a rigid
cardboard mailer, with a copy of your payment receipt, and it's always in a plastic protective sleeve...always have, always will.
Also, I never send "second chance" offers and I'll never end an auction early to sell it.
Thanks again for stopping by, God bless you and our armed forces around the world.
