About Me:I have been an avid collector and lover of antique quilts for most of my life.I have a large collection of my own which I do offer select pieces for sale occassionally.I primarily deal in 19th century pieces and redwork embroidery because this is where my personnal interests lie.I work with several antique stores and estate sales in my area,this is where I obtain most of the items I offer.I also do some consignment sales for other collectors.
I am proud of my feedback,because of the age of pieces I offer many are not mint or perfect,as is to be expected antique quilts were meant to be used and enjoyed and will pick up flaws along the way as part of their history,to not accept this would be far too limiting.I am very flexible,I offer my return customers discounts,some at below my own cost,why? because first and foremost I am a collector, not a seller and it is important to me the pieces go to people who understand,love and cherish them.
I have been contacted recently regarding very minor issues that have been missed in descriptions.I try very hard to picture and mention anything found.I do always mention anything obvious,These requests have been for partial refunds,I do not give partial refunds under any circumstances.I do allow returns.All these buyers opted to keep quilt,if its nice enough to keep you are expected to pay agreed upon price for it..I am sorry I cannot quarantee smoke and pet free home.I do not smoke but I do not wash most items before shipment.I will wash items if requested and I believe the item has been washed before and the item will tolerate this well.I am an animal lover and yes I do have pets.Unless from my personnal collection the items have not been used by me or displayed and the animals do not have any access to them.
In response to three negative feedbacks,I am very easy to work with I believe my feedback reflects this,However I am not easily manipulated and I DO NOT RESPOND WELL TO NASTY EMAILS AND THREATS,this is an unnnessary tactic,I do allow returns on ALL items sold.Fragile items must be packed securely and double boxed to help insure safe arrival and to be covered by the insurance.I cannot and will not cram in a smaller box and hope for the best.If there is a problem please contact me in a RESPECTFUL manner.I quarantee you will be shown the same respect.
