My name is Ruth McLachlan and I grew up in rural North Dakota. I spent many hours helping my mom and dad with numerous "chores" on the ranch.I believe the've helped me understand that hard work is very gratifying. My life experiences while being on the farm has shaped my design style. Most of my designs and ideas come from child hood experiences. They range from horsebackriding through the coulees of the Buffalo Farm and Ranch to exploring by Fort Mandan. My formal education is in the field of Commercial Art. I spent a number of years in that field before dedicating my life to family and my art.

In business, I believe in offering only the best quality products. I support companies and individuals living or based in the United States. My Cowhides are Brazilian and are hand picked by my suppiler on buying trips. This way I know that I receive only the best quality, high end hides with impeccable tanning.
