Have A Passion For Vintage Textiles?

Thank you for stopping in! We like to think of ourselves as dressing the windows of the world, one window at a time.

We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with ebay seller onesweetcottageway in an effort to streamline our inventory and offer a wider range of vintage textiles. Please view this seller for more fantastic vintage finds.  If need be, we can combine shipments for a savings for you from either store.  Just let us know your intentions prior to checkout for combined weights when purchasing multiple auctions.

We are also members of Painting Ebay Pretty (P.E.P), a fine network of sellers offering lovely vintage textiles and hand crafted items through out ebay.  To find these sellers, simply type in P.E.P. in the title search bar.  The P.E.P. network of sellers also actively runs charity auctions, volunteering and allocating funds to various charity auctions.  We are proud to be members of such a fine and noteworthy group.

P.E.P is a fabulous group of eBay sellers dedicated to keeping eBay pretty by offering some of the loveliest items on eBay.

MORE ABOUT US:

With a mad passion for antique and vintage textiles, fabric, draperies, bedspreads and quilts, we are totally relentless in our quest for the incredible vintage finds. We spend literally hours on the road scouring flea markets, estate sales, antique shoppes and at auctions searching for the finest textiles.

Thanks to you, our buyers, our attempts are not in vain. You have shown us that you love what we love, and we love doing it! We subscribe to all the decorating magazines, pouring over the same details as you do, and have a tremendous love for creating and decorating. The hardest part for us is truly letting go of our textiles and listing them. Sometimes it is literally a sad parting for us. We can't keep them all and while listening to our inner thoughts we often hear ourselves saying: where will we ever find an excellent piece like that again?~ That is the hardest part,...letting go.

We enjoy your letters and envision your decorating style. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of your lives!

Thank you! All of you, for a most enjoyable exchange. And if you are on the hunt for something really special, let us know and as we make our rounds we will keep our eyes and ears open for you. We have been known to find the impossible ;-)!

A Word About Our Linens and Textiles:

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT OUR LINENS COME TO YOU EXACTLY AS THEY COME TO US. IN AN EFFORT TO CONTINUE TO OFFER LOW STARTING BIDS, RARELY DO WE LAUNDER OUR LINENS.  MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, THE LINENS HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE FOR DECADES, PERHAPS CAREFULLY KEPT, OR SIMPLY TOSSED INTO A BOX IN AN ATTIC.  THIS MEANS THAT OFTEN TIMES SOME OF THE LINENS AND TEXTILES MAY HAVE SOME OFFENSIVE ODORS AND/OR MARKS & STAINS.  FOR GENERAL CLEANING, WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND PROFESSIONAL LAUNDERING IF YOU ARE NOT CERTAIN.

Policies:

Many of you ask us about returns and we did not accept returns. We offer to you, if possible, to contact the second highest bidder and/or, you may relist yourself, (using our pictures and descriptions if you like, just let us know). We too, have often purchased just not the right color before on eBay, and we simply list. If you have not listed before it is a wonderful way to make so many new friends.

Payment:

Notification of payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. We like to know your intentions, stops us from mind reading which we fail miserably at anyway. Full payment is expected within 7 days (unless previously agreed upon between buyer and seller) and failure to make payment will result in your bid and win forfeited, a non-paying bidder alert to eBay and relisting on our end. This keeps the flow going. We ask if you run into trouble with your ability to pay, to kindly drop us a line and let us know. We have patience, we just need to know.

Feedback:

We leave feedback after we have heard from you and learn that you are satisfied. We have learned that this is the best way to start communication and ratify any concerns. Feedback is left weekly.

Shipping:

We have a modest handling fee, which includes delivery confirmation. All packages are shipped with delivery confirmation. We normally ship within three business days of payment. Majority of items are shipped USPS, which is our carrier of choice and is convenient from our town. With large items, we sometimes offer UPS shipping.

Thank you again for stopping by! We cherish our customers and welcome your inquiries.
