THANKS "SEW" MUCH! LILLI, MAX & HENRY   First, let me say that even though I solely manage the store, TOWELS-N-THINGS is a family effort, and I certainly couldn't do it alone. We sell handcrafted items as well as a variety of things. Hi, my name is Robin Mann. I have enjoyed sewing for many years. I learned to embroider when I was a child and still enjoy it to this day. I have always thought of the fabric as a blank canvas and myself as the artist bringing a design to life. My mother has sewn all of her life so with my creativity and her know-how, we make a great team! My mom, sister, and I create machine embroidered and appliqued kitchen tea towels, pillowcases, placemats, napkins, and aprons. We have taken a lot of special requests for personalized items and strive to do our very best to make sure our customers are pleased with the finished product. Check out my feedback - seems like we are succeeding in making our customers happy. I also enjoy listing "things" from my niece's outgrown toys to my Dad's farm equipment! I am just beginning to list vintage linens. I am really excited about this venture. I plan on embelishing them with appliques and embroideries. Of course some of the items will be just perfect the way they are! I would also like to mention, I am reintroducing myself to fabric painting. My sister and I got so adept at this when we were young. We painted several DOW (days of the week) flour sack tea towel sets and I am finding it to be a little tedious but I love it. I have a few hand painted tea towels in the store currently and intend on making many more. If there's one thing I love doing more than creating, it's spending time with my three wonderful dogs. I live in a small country Missouri town and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy their freedom - funny thing, they just hang around the back door waiting for me to come out and play - or maybe it's the cookie treats they love.
