We are a two-person operation, designing and creating more than 100 pieces of original Latino art *a month* in our living room-turned art studio! We use a combination of vintage images, mixed with our own paintings and combine them into a glittery array of functional art that ranges from jewelry to furniture.
We've been doing this for 15 years and have sold our shiny creations to more than 300 shops and galleries around the country. We love it! We are always slammed with orders from our web site, but when we have down time we do the eBay thing. If you see something you like, grab it, it's not often we are here!
Everything we make is created by hand using all kinds of multi-media and recycled materials. We live in Phx, AZ and show/sell all throughout the year. From Sept-December, we have events booked just about every weekend!
When we aren't painting, I (Kathy) write craft books and a national craft column and Patrick has a Latin reggae band. We recently designed two sets of wallpaper borders and accessories for Lowe's Home Improvement Stores,which debut in 1,000 stores this fall. In addition, we will be doing some national TV segments on our art in the coming months. Stay tuned to our web site for more details!
We have two young kids, two Chihuahuas (one of which just had three adorable puppies).
