Exceptional Vintage Collectibles Including Glass, China, Linens, Dolls, Jewelry, and Much More
|
|
I am a stay at home mother of 3 who started selling on eBay in the handmade, boutique hair bow industry. I then got the bug for antiquing and decided to shift my business focus to the antiques and collectibles field. My young children love the treasure hunts that we have when we go shopping for the items that you see at CranberryManor and I bet they will help when they are old enough. My eBay business has become a way to help bring in a small, second income while still staying home to raise my children.
Thank you in advance for your patronage. I am sincerely grateful for your business.

All items for sale by CranberryManor are pre-owned, used, and unless otherwise noted, have not been repaired. Glass and China will arrive w/surface dirt removed, unless noted, but I highly recommend that the buyer clean all utility pieces. Sterling Flatware and Table-pieces will arrive polished and washed, w/only the detail polishing required if buyer so desires. Unless requested, Sterling Jewelry will not be polished, preserving the patina associated w/age. Jewelry repairs and stone replacements are noted, if present. Dolls will arrive w/only minor surface cleaning - as any further cleaning tends to damage or destroy old dolls and/or accessories. Linens, unless otherwise noted, will arrive cleaned, stain-treated (if required), and pressed. All restoration to linens will be noted.
Condition is usually consistent with age and defects noted include cracks, chips, flakes, flea bites, crazing, missing pieces, breaks, repairs, stains and the like. I do not call straw marks or bubbles in glass, as this is part of the old glass-making process and the items' nostalgia. Significant wear to gilding, decal, or pattern will be called, but vintage items are expected to exhibit some wear associated w/both age and use.
Packaging includes tissue wrap, bubble wrap, peanuts, and unless otherwise not possible, new boxes. Rarely do I ship in a padded envelopes, but jewelry shipped this way will be boxed first. Ephemera shipped in a padded envelope will be protected w/cardboard, top and bottom.
Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.

Terminology used to describe my wares:
- MINT - only used to describe wares in original, unopened packaging with no damage, wear, or age evidence
- EXCELLENT - vintage and antique items with wear and signs of age appropriate for the age of the item. For example, a 100 year old piece of glass is expected to have signs of age and use and would be marked excellent as long as there are no chips, cracks, or missing pieces.
- GREAT - item may have a hairline or otherwise unnoticeable crack, may be frayed a little, may have slight yellowing, or may show wear to gold gilding, enameling, paint, etc.
- GOOD - item will have noticeable damage or wear or signs of age as described.

- Payment is due within 4 days of close of auction. Payment not received on time, unless other arrangements have been made, will be brought to eBay's attention.
- I reserve the right to relist your item if I have not received payment within 5 days.
- I will file a Non-Paying-Bidder alert after 5 days of non-payment with no contact.
- For Domestic Orders, I accept Paypal (preferred), money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks, and well concealed cash. Personal checks are subject to a 7-10 day hold for clearing.
- International payments must be made in US Funds - preferably by PayPal. I do not accept personal checks for International Orders.
- I will ship via USPS and will include delivery confirmation.
- I NEVER charge a handling fee. Any extra fees in my auctions for shipping are to cover the cost of boxes, tissue, bubble wrap, peanuts, tape, and stickers.
- I generally only ship to a confirmed address, unless prior arrangements have been made (International orders are excluded).
- If you are purchasing one of my items as a gift, please let me know. I would be happy to include a card for you and send you your invoice under separate cover.
- I will be happy to combine both shipping and packaging fees if you purchase more than 1 item from me.
I love my International Clients - I really do... but please be advised of the following if you live outside of the United States:
- I ship via USPS, but can ship UPS upon request.
- Only jewelry may be shipped via First Class International. All other items are shipped via Priority or Express only.
- Insurance is required, the cost of which is included in your shipping quote
- Rates are subject to change based on changes made by providers, which include USPS and DSI Insurance.
- Please note that there is an inherit risk in shipping First Class International due to lack of tracking, and that this method is a s-l-o-w method of shipping.
- I do not alter Customs Forms - the final auction price is the price that I list on the customs forms. If your item is insured, I will include shipping costs as well so that you may be able to recoup those costs if we need to file an insurance claim.
- Please ask questions - I do want to work w/you to get you the treasures that you desire, and to make you happy.
- Please rest assured that I do my best to both detect and illustrate any flaws that an item may have - but, I do, on occasion, miss something - it's purely by accident and not in any way meant to deceive.
- If you're not happy, I'm not happy. I want you to be a happy and repeat customer at CranberryManor, and I am fully aware of the inherit difficulties w/purchasing online. I am happy to take a return if you just decide you don't like the item, or it was not what your were looking for, or for any reason - please notify me of your intent to return w/in 3 days of receipt of merchandise. Shipping costs, in this case, are non-refundable. If the return is for a misidentification or missed a flaw (please note that this is completely unintentional, as I do my best to research and inspect all items prior to presentation), I will refund your shipping both ways. Please contact me with your questions. I do not charge a restocking fee for returns.
- I DO NOT accept returns on items the buyer has damaged, nor will I reimburse the buyer for damage that they cause to the merchandise. Returns MUST be received in the condition that they were sent to the buyer.
- Also note... if an item remains unclaimed, and the post office returns your shipment back to me, you will be charged shipping fees again, as I can not ship the item back to you free of charge. Generally speaking, unclaimed/USPS returned items cancel the sale. If the unclaimed item is deemed a return, then there will be a 50% restocking fee (leaving an item unclaimed and forcing the post office to return it to me is not an acceptable way of returning an item or changing your mind (buyer's remorse) on the purchase).
- Shipping fees on returns - I will reimburse you for your shipping fees if the item is returned due to misidentification or a missed flaw. I WILL NOT reimburse shipping fees if the buyer changed his/her mind or for "buyer's remorse".
- Please be sure to e-mail me with all your questions prior to bidding.
- I reserve the right to cancel bids based on no or negative feedback. I apologize for having to implement this condition, but I have been having a significant amount of trouble lately with NPBs (and they had no or negative feedback).
- I generally leave positive feedback after receiving it, as your feedback to me indicates that the sale is satisfactory and complete.
- If you need your feedback sooner, please do not hesitate to ask me for it.
