Welcome To CRANIUMLAND

This is me, the real person behind the insanity.

Hey it is now SEPTEMBER. I am back from my summer jaunt! I am currently listing a large collection of vintage 3 3/4 inch G.I.Joe figures and vehicles along with some rare pieces and prototypes/variations. As usual I also have a fine collection of Lps available in my ebay store.
    • OUR SHIPPING AND COMBINED SHIPPING POLICY:
    • FAILURE TO INSURE OR REGISTER/CONFIRM YOUR PURCHASE ABSOLVES CRANIUMS FROM ANY CHARGEBACKS DO TO LOSS OR DAMAGE DO TO SHIPPING. Payment thru PAYPAL implies CONSENT to Cranium's invoice or item description rules.
    • My normal handling rates are $1-2 for smaller packages that go priority and use USPS boxes. It's about $2.50-$3.00 for lps which uses an inductry standard packaging including thicker pads. This defrays the cost of the packaging. And $3 for larger boxes big toys, games etc. which I also purchase. I add on 5% on the shipping cost only for overseas paypal to recover fees on the shipping portion only. My packaging is unsurpased. Also occasionally I make mistakes and if I undercharge I ask for reinbursement and if I overcharge I reimburse also. I DO NOT SUBSIDIZE SHIPPING!
    • I usually invoice within 48 hours of auction closing and shipping is now done 2 times a week maximum and once a week minimum as rising fuel costs and time available force this decision. I am happy to wait to send invoice so auctions can be combined or go back and combine invoices from the previous week though I ask you to pay the invoice in a timely fashion. If you want to continue bidding in future auctions so you can combine shipping just put in the comment box in paypal   "DO NOT SHIP"   I will put in a shelf in my holding room and you can combine till you want me to ship. At the time of shipping I will package together in one shipment in which I charge you for the packaging and the actual shipping costs. If you want you can keep track of your shipping costs by just paying each time the per additional record flat domestic rate or if you overpay then I refund any amount overpaid for shipping to you via paypal. The rest of my shipping comments are below.

The now defunct retail location. Of all the deeds of mice and men....

    •     Our store policy has always been that no sale is more important than a happy customer. We are not anal about our grading and we don't expect you to be. If a dispute arises we will strive to make it right. A good transaction is win win for both parties.
    • This is our shipping policy. Please read carefully. This is not open to negotiation.
    • Records are shipped domestically via USPS media mail unless requested otherwise. All records are professionally packaged using industry standard packaging. This packaging and the padding used cost money and time so we charge approximately $3  to cover our costs of packaging. Whenever auctions are combined it creates additional logistical and handling work for us so we charge a flat rate of $1 for additional lps which covers any additional shippping costs or handling that incur. We go back and combine invoices for the week and are happy to hold items for longer if you want to combine shipping over a period of time but...... you must make payment on items previously won for us to do that. If we make a mistake or you overpay for shipping on mutiple invoices then we refund the money. We are not in the business of making profit off shipping but we will not subsidize shipping either!
    • Worldwide shipping: We use USPS for all worldwide shipping of records. We add $3 for our packaging costs and since the cost of shipping is significantly more to overseas we charge an additional 50 cents per $10 of shipping costs to offset paypal's overseas rate. In other words if your shipping cost is $30 and paypals fees on that $30 shipping cost is $1.50 then you are the one paying for the fee on the shipping cost only. Simply put: We do not subsidize your shipping costs! If we make a mistake and overcharge we refund the difference.
    • Grading Policy
    •     We pretty much use the goldmine standard for grading and the following is our terminology.
    • Disc:
    • Mint is virtually perfect. Listen if I have an lp that I know is mint I just call it near mint appears unplayed.
    • Near mint is nearly new or kept in nearly new condition, only a couple of spindle marks, no marks but it can have light handling wear or light paper marks.
    • Excellent/near mint is an lp that is not quite near mint but is better that excellent. Might have an inaudible mark which keeps it from near mint.
    • Excellent is the grade we prefer for records between near mint and vg+. A clean record that just doesn't make the near mint grade. Light spindle wear and surface handling/paper marks are acceptable. No obvious marks or wear that can affect play. Very light surface noise that doesn''t penetrate the listening experience. Inaudible marks  or scuffs.
    • Vg+/excellent is the grade between vg+/and excellent.
    • VG+ is the lowest grade we prefer to deal with. No excessive spindle wear/marks. Good luster left. Surface noise that might be noticable in the background but nothing that hinders the experience. Light marks which can show up throughout the lp, but nothing that causes defects. Any audible marks shoud be described.
    • Vg/vg+ is once again the grade between.
    • Vg is the type of lp that you are selling cause it is really rare and cool and will still deliver the goods. It might be considered another room lp where it sounds better in the other room or being played on an old Mortorla.
    • Cover: Grade will reflect overall condition.
    • Mint is virtually perfect.
    • Near Mint is nearly new or kept in nearly new condition. It can have the lightest of shelf wear, seam wear, spine wear or creasing, or blunted corners. High reflectivity.
    • Escellent/near mint is one the has that corner with too much damage or just doesn't quite make that near mint grade but is too nice to grade at excellent.
    • Excellent can have light shelf or ring wear but nothing that detracts too much from the overall visual/framing aspects of the cover. A small seam split or crease can still be excellent provided there are not a host of other problems. Very minor writing or other defects such as small sticker tear or residue, corner damage etc.
    • Vg+/excellent is once again the grade between.
    • VG+ is the lowest grade we like to deal with unless it is an awfully rare piece. Ring wear is acceptable until it overwhelms the visual experience. Face it, record covers are art and an intrigal part of the package. Excessive ring wear ruins the experience and therefore shouldn't be VG+ and has to be vg/vg+ at best no matter how nice the rest of the cover is. Minor splitting, creasing shelf wear etc. In other words the cover is acceptable and nothing to be ashamed of and this is an example you can live with.

Hey, we don't make a living by misrepresenting or getting over on others but: we are human and have made mistakes! We strive to do it right the first time and make it right when we don't!
