To Drummond
Wisconsin
I
live in Northwestern Wisconsin in a tiny unincorporated town called
Drummond. It is a town that is only 30 miles south of Lake Superior.
Our town has a pre-school through grade 12 one building school that
is mostly new and extremely good!! We have a sign that says "Business
District" which tickles me everytime I see it since it means we
have a post office, water tower (we live practically under it),
cemetery, bank, townhall, convenience/gas station, and 2
bar/restaurants!! Everything anyone needs! We love it here and eBay
allows me to get the "big city prices" without traveling
30-60 miles one way to get the same item for more $$ PLUS having to
go out into the below zero cold and 4 feet of snow. In the summer we
are subjected to 100% humidity and highs of middle 90's (a couple of
times over a 100 degrees!). Last winter we have "enjoyed"
no school (for 6 days) due to snow & cold. We LOVE the four
seasons and the people. I feel as if it is like the town in Northern
Exposure (since we do have our own way of doing things & everyone
knows what everybody is doing or did!) we have a once a week paper
and half of it is the different towns gossip columns. :-) We are the
real life version of Garrison Keillor's Lake Wobegon!!
Who
is this Buyer/Seller???
Basically
I am the main bidder/seller, Carrie Nelson. 46 yrs old, Female LDS
(Mormon), Married 27+ yrs, 2 AWESOME women 25 & 21, and 2
INCREDIBLE girls ages 16 & 10. My picture is of me at our
county's Bayfield Apple Fest. I wound up on the local news for my
apple deelyboppers! So my family consists of ~ Our oldest daughter is
a county-wide 911
dispatcher
(youngest
they have hired when she was age 19) and they LOVE her work. She gave
us a son-in-law in April of 2005 and gave us our first grandchild (a
girl) in February of 2006!! She is also added a son in October 10
2009 he is amazing (of course) and again she had a 3 hours labor and
he was 8#6oz 2 pounds bigger than his big sister at birth! To hear my
grand-daughter say Busha is so precious (Busha is Polish for
grandmother). I had an incredible Busha and my Mom loved being a
Busha. She passed away suddenly at age 53 (my story is here).
* Our 21 year old is a gifted ballet, jazz, (started dancing classes
at age 4!) and Irish step-dancer, singer, musician
and
actress! She is currently pursuing her passion as a professional
Ballroom Dancer at Gotta
Dance and Competition in Ballroom's different styles.

is her dream job! She lives in Crown Point Indiana (near my
birthplace of Hammond and home to my Grandpa, Aunt, and cousins). She
has been tutored by Alex (from the top 20 of 2006 So You Think Can
Dance), Tony from “Dancing With The Stars”!. She is
engaged to be married next summer and is marrying a dancer! Our 16
year old has her DRIVER'S LISCENSE! Oh boy stay off the sidewalks
people! She usually has this growth on her ear (phone!) She is
getting an amazing straight A's so far and she was on the honer roll
last year as well. She hopes to graduate mid year next near and is
taking incredibly hard courses. She is deciding on a college. She
loves her xbox and computer
which
we have to pry her off of. Our 10 year old is adorable & then
switches to the other child that can get into things she shouldn't in
a matter of a nanosecond. I describe her in one word: ACTIVE! We love
her whatever mood she chooses. She loves 4rd Grade and is getting
wonderful grades! As it is now our little but amazing school usually
have 2 classes per grade with about 15 average in each class. This
year however, they have them (the 4th
grade only) all in one class. We have had some budget cuts so
because her class is small (about 25 total) they didn't replace the
retired teacher. I can go on forever on how incredible our school is!

I love to Spend Time Doing
I
LOVE Knitting & crocheting anything and everything (see next
paragraph)! If there is a way to manipulate yarn I do it! I have been
working, building, fixing, upgrading, and tutoring in computers for
over 25 years - online for 13 years and an eBay registered buyer &
seller for over 7 years! I have been around computers since I was a
teenager and do support for my Dad's company Townhallinc.com.
TV.- I am a proud self-proclaimed REALITY TV Junkie! (Survivor,
SYTYCD, America's Next Top Model, Top Chef, Project Runway, Flipping
Out, Real Housewives of Orange County/New York/Atlanta/New Jersey!)
as well as Court TV, Discovery Health, TLC, A&E, & MOVIES! My
newest shows I like are Wedding shows on WE and My Big Redneck
Wedding on CMT! They are HILARIOUS and when your husband's family are
all rednecks it is twice as funny!
 Why
do I sell yarn & crafts?
I
am
a shameless YARNOPHILE! Just
like a book enthusiast is a Bibliophile. Not to be confused with a
YARNOHOLIC. A yarnophile derives total bliss & one with nature
when looking at, feeling, shopping for, & creating with yarn. An
even GREATER spiritual happiness is attained when giving your
creation to another as a gift. A yarnoholic is a person who loves
yarn like the yarnophile but does not feel the spiritual connection
and therefore 100% bliss is not attained. There IS a TREATMENT and
most respond extremely well to constantly searching, shopping, &
buying at the most BOTTOM price all kinds of yarn and supplies to
manipulate the yarn! I know the treatment is to look at, shop for,
buy, and make wonderful items with yarn! That's including scouting
out the softest, most beautiful, and yummy YARN for the VERY LOWEST
PRICE! I am a sucker for real soft yarn in amazing colors and
textures. I have scoured stores to find yarn that is soft, pretty,
and at a really LOW price!! I only sell what I love to work with! I
also love just about any craft. I am constantly looking for crafts
that are fun for both kids & adults. I love to find craft
bargains that are unique as well. If you would like to suggest a yarn

Keep checking it. I will be able to sell many more selections of
yarns, crafts, and holistic items. My personal motto is "Yarn is
NEVER TOO soft". In fact a fraction of my selling on eBay goes
toward more yarn ~ needles ~ patterns ~ notions. Yep and my absolute
deep love of yarn has also caused me to CONSTANTLY download a million
patterns AND buy books of even MORE patterns! I only buy a pattern if
I cannot search one out! I have won ribbons at the county fair and
will be submitting to the WISCONSIN STATE FAIR next year.

for any type of crocheting, double ended crocheting,
tunisian/crochenit, machine knitting, loom and knitting board
knitting, the people are so helpful and there is just an incredible
amount of support and help as well as ideas & patterns. Having
any problem with needle crafts and these groups are incredible. I

Why
do I sell holistic therapies & research?
I
am a big supporter of herbal & homeopathic remedies and have used
and have studied alternative medicine for over 15 years. I am
currently going to school for a number of alternative therapies. My
instructor is Kristie Karima Burns, MH, ND. She is a wonderful and
warm person who knows her stuff. I HIGHLY recommend taking any of her
classes which can be found at her eBay store Herb
N Home. I do stay pretty much at home since both my husband and I
are disabled. I have had many surgeries from replacement knees to TMJ
surgery and will probably have replacement TMJ joints. I have
Fibromyalgia,
Chronic Depression, TMJ
disease, with other health problems. I also just spent 17 days
total (2 different stays) in the hospital in August/September. I
found I have Ulcerative
Colitis. Both my Dad & husband also have serious chronic
conditions and I am CONSTANTLY researching, reading about, and
looking for ways to treat and live with these conditions. I am
explaining this so that others can realize that you can live with
health problems but still be able to have fun, run a business, and be
with family & friends!! This is also why I love to do
constitutional
& ailment research for others because sometimes the whole
holistic approach may daunt you and you don't know where to start. I
have found some wonderful homeopathic and herbal remedies for you and
your pet. I am proud to sell PetAlive, Native Remedies, Celletech,
Beehive Botanicals, and soon single ingrediant herbal products. I
will soon offer a comprehensive homeopathic constitution
consultations. Essentially you will fill out a comprehensive
questionnaire and I will spend at least 2 hours researching your
homeopathic "type" & "constitution" and
suggest a remedy. I will explain your remedy and your type. I may
also suggest herbs, vitamins, and nutrition. I will also inform you
of any warnings of interactions between the herbs, vitamins, and
over-the-counter or prescription drugs.I FIRMLY believe that there is
HUGE benefits to holistic therapies AS WELL as allopathic
medicine!!
What
does "Other" mean in my world?
Other
is everything from my used clothes to my used VCR tapes. It also
includes new software to my latest creation called GusSees. I ALWAYS
am putting different items up. The name of my store is simply because
I have CRAZY prices on ANYTHING I sell! I also like to sell a variety
of items that I can sell at a huge savings to you! I do this to help
my family since my hubby cannot work and I know that many of you are
trying to get by as well. By finding & pricing my items so low we
both can be happy! I have "best offer" on many of my
auctions and welcome any offers. I answer my email questions promptly
and strive to be an honest eBay seller. I completely stand behind all
of my auctions. I work hard at keeping my positive
feedback rating. I know I have 1 negative and I have written a
blog on this particular buyer and have the emails and refund amounts
given. If you can figure out her problem let me know because she is
definitely got an elevator that doesn't reach all the way to the top.

Things I Stand on my Soapbox for:
The
Great
Girl Scout Cookie Conspiracy of 2004!!That's right I am the
"Carrie Nelson" that the article quotes. I still have all
the emails good (99%) and bad (1%)and will share them anytime. My
youngest daughter is in her 3rd
year
in Brownies and yes we did sell cookies on eBay but we had purchased
them and did not do any ordering through eBay. I am very proud of the
new Girl Scout website and the new feature to find a Girl Scout to
buy from.
MY
100% Positive FEEDBACK that I work HARD at! I know you will say
my feedback is 99.6% but to me that one is not even a real feedback
as she got her entire amount back and then $5.00 more? What other
seller does that? You can see all about it below or at

her 1 off and some other lunatic who had been on eBay for a whopping
2 weeks before she purchased thread and didn't pay for the shipping.
After 3 emails to her regular email and through the ebay message
system and being totally ignored I sent it anyway with a note. She
received the tracking numbers (Priority mail) and then the day before
she received it she gives me neg feedback. I tried the “new”
ebay-change-your-feedback with her but was yet again ignored. She
then stiffed another seller for a DOLLAR item! Unfortunately with
ebay's wonderful feedback program she shows 100% positive of 3 when
it should be 33% because the other one she stiffed had to put a
positive but then said “NEVER PAID” just to help other
poor sellers like her and I. Yeeps how does that even come CLOSE to
being “honest” which is why ebay said they changed the
policy of giving buyers negative feedback so they can be “honest”
without the fear of retribution. Hmmmmm
