About Me... Hi! I'm the Smith in Cropsmith :-) I am a scrapbooking enthusiast who just had to have so many great things that I decided to become a retailer and surround myself with all the amazing color, design, and textures that scrapbooking provides. In addition to scrapbooking, I also enjoy photography, quilting, knitting, reading, and writing. I thank all my customers for your patronage and coming back to my shop time and again looking for fun, new items. You keep me busy and I love every minute of it!
About Scrap Baby... In addition to Cropsmith on eBay, I also have my own website called Scrap Baby. Poor Scrap Baby has languished in the World Wide Web while Cropsmith has consumed nearly all of my free time. About Time... I'm able to spend about an hour in the evenings (after I get the kids to bed) working on Cropsmith orders, listings, answering questions, sending invoices, and the like. The rest of my time is spent at my full-time software engineering job, which I love; writing books; and enjoying my wonderful family: husband, 6-year-old son, and 4-year-old daughter. So please try to be understanding if it takes a bit longer than expected to receive a response. I do my best to please my customers and my feedback shows that I have the best customers any seller could hope for. Thank you all!
About Those Crazy eBay Shipping & Handling Calculations... They're just plain wacky sometimes! Do not panic, do not be afraid that I will gouge you on shipping. I am a fair shipper and charge only a modest handling fee which helps to minimally offset costs like foreign currency conversion fees, the cost of boxes, tape, toner, labels, zip-loc bags, etc. Depending on the items you purchased, I have seen eBay come up with a shipping cost of over $300 (a new record!) when the actual S&H that I charged when I sent the invoice was only $9.95. And the same happens for international customers, too! I've seen auto-calculations of $150+ when the actual S&H charged on my invoice was $35. So please, don't be alarmed, just ignore the clearly-outrageous calculation and request an invoice from me instead. I will take care of you fairly. Thank you!
About Flat Rate Priority Mail Costs... Domestically, I charge $5.95 for everything that fits in a flat rate envelope, $12.95 for everything that fits in a flat rate box (it's BIG!), and $16.95 for everything that fits in the Large Flat Rate box. For International orders, Express Mail is the only available shipping service. This is due to eBay's new rules for sellers. I can only ship using a trackable service and Express Mail is USPS's only trackable service.
About Shipping... I always send an email with your tracking number so you know when your order has shipped and can track its progress (assuming USPS actually scans the delivery confirmation barcode :-). You will also receive notification from PayPal when I update the PayPal transaction with shipment information, so you will know when I shipped your package—unless your email interface considers my message spam and deletes it or bounces it back to me. Please check your Junk and Deleted Items folders; my message might just be waiting there for you.
