Thank you for coming to my "ME" page! Here's a little bit about me.
I chose my eBay name "crystalmoon" because I love crystals, and moonlight. I love the metaphysical characteristics of the different crystals and minerals. Moonlight reminds me of sleeping, dreams and psychic energies. I create jewelry with crystals, rocks, minerals, and even shells. NOW I CREATE EARRINGS, TOO! Currently, I have earrings available in the following stones: Seraphinite, Kunzite, Aqua Aura Quartz, Morganite, Black Tourmaline, Citrine, Amethyst, Blue Apatite, Lepidolite, Hemimorphite, and who knows? Maybe I'll add more!!

How I Got Started . . .
I was at a craft fair in the autumn of 1995 and entered a strange booth. I didn't have any previous experience with crystals (except for liking Amethyst because it was a pretty purple) at that time. An index card was in each of the small bins on the table. Each bin had a different mineral and the cards said wonderful things. The Citrine said that it helped bring money and optimism. I needed that! So I picked up one and said I would buy it. Then I looked a little closer at all the different things each of the stones was supposed to bring to its keeper. Well, I had to have one of everything, just about. And so my journey began. I didn't leave that booth until I had purchased over $100 of tumbled stones. I learned all their names and what they did. I didn't learn until about a year later that I was supposed to FEEL tingles or heat or something when holding these stones. I had been a person who has to see something before believing it. Well, when I found out that I was supposed to feel something, I thought there had to be something wrong with me, because I couldn't feel anything. I held the stones in my hands one at a time. Over a period of a week or so, I actually began to feel tingly sensations when holding a crystal. My hand actually got HOT! I had done it! Well, let me tell you, if I hadn't been hooked before, I was then. I started reading metaphysical books. I have quite a personal library now: Auras, Kundalini, Reiki, crystal layouts. Next, I decided that if each stone had its own vibration and could bring you different things, why not let the stone "work" on me for long periods of time! So I started training myself to actually hold a rock in my hand while sleeping at night. I could only use tumbled stones, though, because I had a waterbed at the time. Then I read about spheres! Spheres seem to have a really uniform field of influence (like dropping a pebble in water - ripple effect). So, I started collecting spheres. When spheres were not available, I bought eggs. But I prefer spheres. A 2" size is perfect, I've found, for holding while I sleep. Anything smaller seems to fall out of my hand and I end up lying on top of it all night. I also collect specimens in their natural form, like Quartz Laser Wands and crystals. I like meditative music, Nag Champa incense, Reiki, "The Celestine Prophecy" and crystal chakra balancing layouts.

My love of stones lead me to want to wear them, so then I had to invent ways to hold the stones so that they wouldn't have to be hidden in my pockets. From there, I actually GLUED base metal caps onto stones that had split rings on them so that I could wear them as necklaces! (I know, it's funny looking back on it now, but I had to do something!) Then I was totally lucky when I discovered wire-wrapping (the ancient artistry that I now share with eBayers all over the country)! It's like I was born to do it! During my learning sessions, I actually felt a sort of déjà vu, like I'd done this before... I have progressed from "baby steps" in my voyage of creation to where I am now. I have learned through experience that using more precious metal in my designs (be it 14KTGF or Sterling Silver) creates a totally secure "frame" or "cradle" for the stones. It also makes the pendants more inherently valuable than pendants made with the bare minimum of wire to hold them. Through experience, I have learned that a job done well is a job well done - QUALITY! I give a totally special, heartfelt thanks to all of my repeat customers in eBayland who have made the journey a pleasant one. With your kind feedback and encouragement, I have become the virtual fountain of creativity that I am today. My mission, if you haven't already guessed, is to share these wonderful gems/stones/minerals/crystals with others out there who want these healing energies in their lives as much as I do. Well, you know, I SLEEP holding rocks (grin)!

I have no medical evidence to substantiate the correlation between wearing stones and the effects they will have on the wearer. However, a leading metaphysical author has published a book suggesting that the metaphysical properties in her book will have specific effects on the wearer WHILE he/she concentrates on the desired outcome. The author further states that this is NOT a substitute for consulting your physician; and I agree. When I wear any of my stones or crystals, I feel empowered by them. Maybe it's just because I WEAR them with specific intentions -- it works because I told my mind it would, OR does it work because of the molecular interaction between my body and the stones/crystals? I don't know. All I know is it seems to work FOR ME.
Please note that lots of the mystical healing properties offered on my auction page were paraphrased from the best-selling book: LOVE IS IN THE EARTH; A KALEIDOSCOPE OF CRYSTALS - UPDATED, by Melody. ISBN code: 0-9628190-3-4. Actually, she has written a series of books, and any of them may be a reference tool from which I gather metaphysical information. If you don't have Melody's books yet, I highly recommend them! They can give you wonderful insights into the metaphysical properties of stones! ~*~smile~*~
