Finally someone came and took me out of the kennel and he said he was going to be my Step Dad. I did not know what that meant but it turned out to be really good. My Step Dad and Step Mom have made me really happy and they have such a neat home for me. They have taught me how to act with something they call annersand taught me some words that mean for me to do certain things. There is lots of space to run and play and lots of big trees and a barn. The neighbors have horses and I even see deer in our yard sometimes but my Step Dad won let me chase them. There are even foxes next door and sometimes we get to play through the fence. I think deer and foxes must have to stay outside all the time and its very cold in the winter here in Colorado. I glad I don have to worry about that because I stay inside my family home and get to sleep at the foot of my Step Parent bed. Every morning very early, even in the cold, I make it my job to go out and check all the fences to make sure no strange animals have gotten in our yard.
My Step Sister came to live with us and she is going to college learning something she says is Special Education. She is always signing to me but I just ignore that. After all, I not deaf and I make her use the words I have learned. She says she came from a place called California. I hope that place was not as scary as The Humane Society. She has taught me a lot more words and takes me to the pet store with her. That really fun and now I know all the good pet stores in town. Sometimes when we drive to the store, we see antelope and cows in the fields. That makes me bark I get so excited when I see them.
The picture of me was taken Christmas day. We had lots of new people in our home that I don get to see very often. There were presents for everyone. I can read yet, and I opened my Step Mom's present by mistake. Everyone laughed at me. I was so ashamed and embarrassed, I ran to my Step Dad and hid my face so they wouldn see I was about to cry. My Step Dad made them all stop laughing and told me that even people who can read open the wrong present by mistake sometimes. He said it was all OK and that made it good. We all had the best Christmas ever.
Our eBay Store is called The Clickit Shop. My Step Sister thought up that name when we started the store last year. My Step Dad says our first calendar year, 2004, was really good and he and my Step Sister work very hard with the Computer doing things for the store and keeping up with customer needs. Every day they work on the computer and then take lots of packages to the Post Office to send to customers. My Step Mom works on some really neat crafts, like ceramics things and glass jewelry and something called glass slumping.
Sometimes, a man in a big brown truck brings us a large box of things for the store. I don like those brown trucks so I can help barking at them. My Step Mom gets really mad at me for doing that, but I just can help myself.
Our store focus has been Unmounted Rubber Stamps and the supporting Stamping and Mounting Supplies. We also have rab Bagsand from time to time carry raftyitems. We carry some hand painted ceramic baby shoes that can be personalized with a name and birth date. Other crafty items include jewelry, bead items, dichroic glass and some hand painted tiles.
