Thank you for visiting my "About Me Page"
You may wonder what my user ID means - Curecameron
To Cure Cameron is my life's goal. My 10 year old son Cameron suffers from Juvenile/Type 1 Diabetes(Diagnosed at age 5). It is a horrible thing for our entire family but of course much worse for him. If you don't know much about Type 1 Diabetes I'll tell you; It means my son is insulin dependent for the rest of his life, He can not survive with out it ! Diabetes is always there, there are no Holidays, Weekends or Vacations from it. It has to be managed, planned and monitored 24/7 365. He checks his blood sugar with finger pokes a min of 10 times a day - Ouch ! He get's a minimum of 3 shots a day of insulin, but Insulin is not a CURE ! All of his snacks and meals have to be carefully planned and timed. The thought of him going through this for the rest of his life is absolutely heartbreaking !!!!
Update : In February 2008 Cam got his insulin Pump ~ No more daily shots ~ HOORAY !

That was the bad news, now for the good news; Right now Researchers are closer than ever to finding a CURE. With enough funding it will Happen !!!! We also need to support Stem Cell Research, because with out it it won't happen(at least not anytime soon).

Cameron and Remmie (one of our Golden Retrievers)
I am now a stay at home Mom so that I can keep a closer eye on Cameron, so I decided to start seling on EBAY to try and raise more money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. A portion of the profits from anything I sell is donated to JDRF and/or used for his monthly insulin and supplies. Every year(for the past 3 years) in August our family Participates in our Local " Walk to Cure Diabetes" at Wheeler Historic Farm. Our Family team ~ Team Paschall has Successfully Raised and Donated money every year for the Fight to Find a Cure for Juvenile Diabetes. If you would like more information about Juvenile Diabetes or JDRF please feel free to contact me, Kellee.
I have been creating different types of Crafts and selling them for years. In the past I did mainly woodworking, soaps, lotions, tapestry pillows and candles.
