- WWW...You can call me Randy. On eBay, I'm known as custom-artfishingrods. Since a young child I've cultivated a creative spark necessary in all artists. Self-expression is as old as cave paintings and an integral part of enjoyment of life. Personally, after college, I attempted to ignore my true calling and pursued a career in the construction industry, both building and drawing blueprints. Twenty years passed and I discovered no matter how many monuments to man (attempting to manage space) I built, the results were the same; all structures eventually get torn down and replaced! So they are tearing down the world and putting up a parking lot! Well you know what? I've always loved creating, and I believe I'm going to leave tearing down the world to others. Putting my wasted past behind me, I'm now in full throttle mode of creating art from every angle and medium that catches my eye. I've been producing art in various mediums for years off and on, including but not limited to: acrylic paintings, drawings (pencil and colored pencils, pastels, & charcoals), silk screening, lithography, woodcarvings (and prints from them of which I've won awards), and lately, handmade hemp accessories. I'm also proficient in both hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery and building and custom-wrapping fishing rods (of which the latter I've been doing for 20-some odd years). Artistically, it is my goal to enrich and/or upgrade the amount of available culture, while keeping the dispersal of such in as interesting and entertaining mode as possible. ME ON A GOOD DAY!Custom-artfishingrods, coming to you from eBay! My store artrods, not only has a mixture of original art in a variety of mediums available for purchase, but also offer custom created items at the preferences and specifications of the buyer. These items include but are not limited to; paintings, drawings, custom built/wrapped fishing rods, hemp necklaces, leather necklaces(with shark's teeth) along with shark's teeth earrings mounted on gold posts, with gold backs, bracelets, chokers, anklets, zippertags, and conchshell scented candles, each with their own individual stand..
I'm also offering a new item, created specifically for the purpose of display, for artists with smaller objects and items that hang. It is a multi-positional, stacking, shelving display, that leaves it up to the individual as to the positions and spacing of the various shelves. Objects can be displayed both on top of the shelves as well as on hooks on the underside of the shelves! I'll be displaying this shortly in a variety of positions to introduce it to the www and offer it for sale.
