Hello! Welcome dear friends to my "About me" page, I am so happy to share with you my journey as the creator of Cute Covers! My name is Theresa and I have been designing handmade bible covers for youth through adult since 2006 here on eBay! I am self taught in sewing and quilting, and I am a wife and mother to 3 children. We are a Christian family, who believe that "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17
I noticed that there are very few options in Christian bookstores and gift shops that are fashionable and personal bible covers for our youth. As a mom of 2 young daughters myself, pink , fluffy princess-y sparkles are no stranger to me! I began to offer my unique designs for girls exclusively on eBay in 2006. As I continued to get feedback on these "Cute Covers" , a larger demand presented itself. I opened my first ever eBay store that same year. The eBay store which I continue faithfully each day, has allowed for many of my past customers inspirations and requests such as "Buy It Now" options for custom orders. "Make Offer" options for a opportunity in negotiating pricing. The most exciting opportunity? I now offer eBays largest selection of handmade bible covers!
In the Fall of 2009 I released the newest designs featuring monogramming services, which allows my customers to make their bible covers even more personal and special! A very wonderful recent customer of mine said "I want to make the bible and God seem personal! As He is a personal God! " That statement really touched my heart, because she was right on, our God IS a personal God, and he loves us, the bible tells us: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,before you were born I set you apart; Jeremiah 1:5
The bible covers I offer present and protect the word of God, and show your faith proudly! Children love the fun prints and personalization. Mom's love the options for siblings, twins and their home schools! I have met hundreds of people across this great nation, including men and women from various branches of our US Military. In 2007 I began offering FREE Priority Mail shipping to those families serving our country, the mail typically moves slower to them sometimes taking up to 14 days! By using Priority Mail military families receive their packages promptly, please continue to pray for our Troops and The United States of America.
As 2010 approaches, I will be offering many new and exciting additions to this ministry. I will continue to do all things in Christ who strengthens me.
