Once payment is received, we will normally ship your purchase within seven business days.  Occassionaly our turn around time may take longer than ten business days due to an unanticipated inventory shortfall as the items being offered are also sold thru our walk-in retail outlet. RETURN POLICY

1. All items may be returned (prepaid) within three days of receipt. A fifteen (15) percent restocking fee applies. Buyer is also responsible for all listing fees and Ebay's final value fee. Also, shipping charges will not be refunded.  Customer return shipping charges will not be refunded irregardless of circumstances.

2. International orders may not be returned.

3. Special orders may not be returned.

4. Returns will be refused if the item has been returned after three days of receipt, if it is used, worn, or altered from its original condition in any way. Items must be returned with all original paperwork and boxes.

5. CVTOBACCO strives to honestly describe the articles it sells. Occasionally situations arise where the actual artical received may differ from the description posted. We cannot be held responsible for manufacturing processing and engineering changes and any other revisions that conflict with the description advertised.

SHIPPING LOSS & DAMAGE CLAIMS USPS :

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR ORDER:

Orders that are shipped by USPS are shipped insured and should normally reach you within the guidelines specified above.  Please ensure that you have used the tracking information provided to track your package.  It if does not show up after 2 weeks beyond these quidelines, please let us know and follow these instructions: Get a Form 1000 from the Post office and fill out the top right portion including your name, shipping information and telephone number.  Do not fill out the rest of the form or keep any copies.  We will submit the claim along with the shipping receipt. Write a letter (must be dated at least 21 days from the date the package was shipped) stating that you never received your package and please be sure to sign it. If you paid by check please be sure to send us a copy (front and back) of the check. Send the form and letter to us as soon as possible and we will take it from there.  If the claim is for under $50.00 processing is done at the local post office, if it is more than $50.00 then it is sent to the district office and takes about 30 days for processing. Please keep in mind that we cannot file a claim with the post office for 30 days after the date the package was shipped and therefore cannot replace shipments until the claim is processed.

Additionally, in the event you do purchase insurance, it terminates once the package is transferred to your countries postal service. WE CANNOT PROVIDE INSURANCE FOR LOST or DAMAGED SHIPMENTS BEYOND THE UNITED STATES BORDERS.  

Claims received for lost packages reported beyond 30 days from the original shipping date will not be accepted.    

IF YOUR PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED:

Let us know as soon as possible and we will mail the required proof of shipping so you can present it along with the damaged package and/or contents with the claim form. 

Get a Form 1000 from the Post office and follow the instructions #3.  The package and contents must be presented to the post office by you along with all required documents.

SHIPPING LOSS & DAMAGE CLAIMS UPS  :

In addition to UPS Ground delivery, CVT also offers Next Day, 2nd Day and Three day delivery service. Visit www.ups.com for delivery service guarantees.

UPS  Lost Package: If a package has not been delivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and time, the receiver can report the package as lost.  If UPS is unable to find your package or prove delivery, a claim number for loss is issued to CVT for processing. UPS Damaged Package: In the unlikely event you receive a damaged package, contact UPS immediately. An inspection by a UPS representative might be required. UPS will prepare a damage inspection report and contact CVT with the results of the inspection. For damages, UPS will provide CVT with a damage claim number as soon as the damage is reported online. Please note that the issue of a claim number does not mean that the claim will be approved.

Claims received for lost packages reported beyond five days after the expected delivery date will not be accepted.    

Exchanges receive 85% credit towards a future purchase. Shipping charges are not refundable.

WARRANTY & PRIVACY

If the item you purchased is defective, please contact the MANUFACTURER and request a WARRANTY CLAIM.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY LEAD TIMES

Upon receipt of payment, Orders are normally shipped within seven business days. Unanticipated inventory shortages may delay delivery. We reserve the right to ship via UPS,     Fed X and the USPS. Normally, we use USPS for smaller packages and UPS for larger packages.

Packages with Delivery Confirmation: Please use the USPS tracking site whenever possible. The USPS tracking site will only give date of shipper's notification of shipment and delivery info. Enroute tracking info is normally not available during package transit and may or may not be available after delivery.

In most cases, the photos used in our listings have been supplied by the manufacturer and are representative of what you will receive. In the case of wood products i.e. humidors, briar pipes, cutters, etc., we cannot guarantee you will receive the same grain pattern, as each item is considered unique. CVTOBACCO guarantees you will receive only genuine and authentic merchandise. 

TAX

Buyer is responsible to report and pay all applicable taxes of his/her state (i.e sales taxes) except in Connecticut. Connecticut tax will be collected from Connecticut residents at time of check-out.
