Personalizing Great Children's Gifts This is me..... There's so much out there today for kids. Some of it good....and some not so good. When it comes to buying gifts for these kids, it's important to look at the overall effect these items may have. I'm happy to say that the products that I offer encourage a healthy mindset, good self esteem and helps to develop their imaginations. I have teacher friends that say they can see the deterioration of children from one decade to the next. Today's children struggle with having a long enough attention span. They are used to being entertained visually, with movies and video games geared to change scene or activity every few seconds. What that does is develop their brains to need that change every few seconds to focus. In school, these same children need to know how to listen and imagine what they are hearing internally. Movies and video games aren't helping our children to develop those listening skills. With the personalized products they can imagine along with the characters as they hear them say their names. They can dance and sing along with Elmo, Mickey Mouse or all the others. Little girls can imagine a tea party with Cinderella, Belle and Snow White. As they listen and pretend, they are developing their listening skills while they play. The personalized Veggie Tales adventure book allows your child to "imagine" they're taking a trip with Bob and Larry and actually be the hero of the story!
