I went to Michigan Tech for a B.S. in Geological Engineering, then the University of Michigan for a M.S. and Ph.D. in Mineralogy/Crystallography. I became a part time mail order mineral dealer in 1970, located in Rapid City, South Dakota. In 1976 moved to the Chicago area and became a full-time dealer. Moved to Bisbee, Arizona in 1979 where I had a retail mineral store and finally to Tucson, Arizona in 2006. I currently only sell on eBay,

In general I list inexpensive minerals for display, rare and reference minerals, and unusual localities worldwide. I'm always looking for old collections, as I need a lot of variety, not much duplication. I'm looking for specimens that other dealers don't have, or were collected many years ago. Because of shipping costs, I prefer smaller specimens, under 4 inches (10 cm).

I work with other mineral dealers who are looking for fine minerals as well as liquidate old rock shop inventories.
