I've
participated on the makeover of the Hope Leadership
Academy in New York City. The Hope Leadership
Academy is a charity in New York City which teaches
inner-city teens successful problem-solving skills;
with the help of such an organization, these teens
will one day excel to become positive leaders
within their communities.
Using only items from eBay, the sprawling basement
of the The Hope Leadership Academy was transformed
into a beautiful, practical and comfortable room.
This room is where the teens meet, work, and learn.
The makeover was featured in the summer/06 issue
of Oprah at Home magazine. I am included in other
publications, as well.
I feel privileged to have the honor of participating
in the makeover of the Hope Leadership Academy,
and I am grateful for the visibility and opportunities
eBay offers its sellers.
