Started ebaying in 1999 & have found that it is a good way to supplement my retirement income. With a life-time career of service in the federal government behind me, I turn in my twilight years to Ebayers like yourself.
We are a joint mom & pop business with my wife Eileen as the packer, mailer, & finder. I do the computer stuff. We try to have about 200 items for sale everyday - either auction or buy-it-now. My problem on older inventory is storing & locating it.
I encourage people to save on mailing cost by combining different of my items into one box for mailing. In that regard, I am always happy to wait for you to shop, knowing that different items will have different closing days. Please email me when you are intending on shopping this way, so that I won't accidentally keep sending you individual item invoices.
My default is to the basic, less expensive, method of shipping - parcel post (or media mail if it is books). However if you need something fast & don't mind paying more to do it , then just email me for priority amount. i also am happy to ship overseas & any method the buyer perfers - my default international mail is air mail (air letter post if under 4 pounds)
I include at least one photo in the item description. I depend on the bidder to look at it closely after reading my description & then if they have any questions about what they see or read - to email me before bidding- so that concerns can be addressed before you open the package. It is my firm believe that ANY issue/concern that is important enough to ask for a refund, is ALSO important enough to ask about before bidding.
And the final auction bid amount - if it seems high to you - please understand that I was willing for it to leave my hands in the MINIMUM bid amount - NOT the final amount. The final bid is always determined by a free & open ebay auction - not by me, & conducted under the auspices of the Ebay rules.
I hope you have fun looking at the tremendous variety of items that I have. Maybe some will remind you of a dear memory that you want to recapture. I hope so.
