Welcome to my world! My name is Debi. I am a lampwork beadmaker and jewelry designer. I enjoy working in my home studio in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
I am a self-representing artist (SRA#126), which means I make my beads by hand and each are unique unto themselves. Organic focals seem to be formed in my flame more than any other style - but you never know what the muse will bring! I am also a member of International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) as well as many other lampworking forums
I most frequently work with Effetre, Vetrofond, CIM and ASK glass as well as specialty american boutique glass. I also use silver, copper, silver glass and frits to enhance some of my beads.
All of the beads are annealed in my digitally controlled kiln to reduce stress and increase strength and durability. The holes are carefully cleaned and the beads are prettily packaged before heading in your direction.
