What I really want you to know about ME

I am ALWAYS creating something with my hands!  I love to scrapbook, make cards, tole paint, sew, design professional silk floral arrangements and everything else I can think of to make things beautiful!  I have a passion for interior decorating!

 I started sewing as a little girl and when I was 8 years old I made my first matching top and pant set.  My mother was a professional seamstress and I will always remember her patience as she taught me to sew.  As a girl growing up, it was especially exciting to watch as she designed gowns and costumes for the Miss and Mrs. America Pageant contestants right in our own home.  My mother is an absolute miracle worker when it comes to figuring out how to fix something and make it perfect!  I am so fortunate to have learned from her to make sure that whatever I do, it is done right because "My name is on it".

I always seem to feel the need to learn something new.  As soon as I've perfected it, I immediately find something else "NEW" to learn.

I seem to feel the best about myself when I am sharing a gift or talent I have been given with someone else.  I have taught professional sewing classes.  I have also taught tole painting, scrapbooking and card making, floral arranging and many other types of craft and decorating techniques.

I love discovering new and "different" ways of doing things-especially when it gives me the opportunity to share it with my friends, family, clients and customers.
