We are Norm & Mary Vogt, That's us above. We are from Pine Grove, CA in the beautiful Sierra Mountain Foothills. We left our high-pressure jobs in the Silicon Valley area and headed for the hills, and never looked back. Go ahead, ask us if we miss the traffic, the crowds, the rat-race.....!"Lizzie" is my nickname, given to me by my father many years ago, he called me "Lizzie Klutz" as I was a bit of a clumsy kid.
All about us....
We specialize in costumes and square dance dresses and accessories. Our square dance dresses are all carefully inspected, cleaned and many have new lace and trims added, new elastic if needed and are ready to whirl around the floor.
Our costumes are all a one of a kind, Old West Saloon or Soiled Dove, Parlour girls or Madam costumes, Southern Belle Civil War era. I also create hats, parasols, ladies "unmentionables". Around Halloween time the sky is the limit! We maintain a small website showing various styles that have already sold. The costume shop buzzes with activity all year long. I try to create unique costumes, something you won't see anywhere else. Take a peak, just fun stuff to look at!
