Visit my eBay auctions where you will find one-of-a-kind paintings and prints - in styles from abstract to realism and retro to art deco. Many local Wisconsin artists who have fallen off the radar screen are featured as well as listed artists, outsiders, and unknowns.
Who am I? Just an old flower child taking an about turn in life, finding new ways to tackle the next 50 or so years.
I started the eBay store to sell the artwork that I acquired at estate sales, hoping to create a full-time business out of it. Art has always been an interest for me, I dabble in sketching and painting. But with starting the store, I became an avid researcher and cheerleader for the unknown and long forgotten artists.
The store as Orphaned Art and Objects Mart is closed on eBay, but I'm still selling items on their auction format so check back often to see new stuff daily. You can also visit my new store on Ruby Lane - it's called Martha's Art Mart.
To the right are examples of my humble effort at using pastels. I painted these from photos we took on one of our hikes in the San Gabriel mountains when we lived in warm, sunny California.
