Sales Policies - Please email with any questions and please be sure of your purchase before you place your bid. All sales are final, but don't let that scare you away. I stand behind my items and my descriptions, and if you receive an item from me that you feel has not been accurately described, please contact me right away, and I will work out any problems. Look at my feedback, I am very easy to work with and I wouldn't be here if I didn't run a good honest business.
Buyer is to pay bid plus shipping within 10 days of end of auction. If you pay by money order, cashier's check, or PayPal - your item is shipped on my next mailing day. Check payments are held 10 days for clearance. So if you need an item by a certain date, please pay by PayPal or money order for the quickest shipping. Insurance is optional - I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail.
Shipping - I ship by U.S. Mail, on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings. I try to ship things as cheaply as possible. Small items like laces, patterns, stockings etc. are shipped First Class mail in padded envelope. Most clothing, fabrics and anything selling for over $25 - I ship by Priority mail, sometimes Parcel Post if you aren't in a hurry to receive the items, and if there is a few dollar savings for you. The cost depends on the boxed weight of the item. Email me with your zip code for shipping cost. Insurance is optional and for your own protection. I pack breakable items very carefully, I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. I ship Internationally - all international packages are marked as 'merchandise' with true value on the customs form. Please do not ask me to falsify customs forms
Vintage clothing ratings -
Excellent - I'm very stingy with calling something 'excellent' I only use that for clothing that I know is unworn or barely worn, nice and super crisp, with no flaws.
Very Good - near perfect, maybe a few minor flaws that don't detract from wearing. I may call something 'Very good to excellent condition' which would mean that it has been worn, but is still crisp with no flaws or a minor flaw.
Good condition - Still very nice and wearable, may have a few flaws. If you are very finicky, or self conscious about wearing something with somewhat noticeable flaws, you may want to pass on an item in good condition and stick to something that is in very good condition.
Fair or Poor - I have an 'AS-IS Damaged' item section on my website, and occasionally list AS-IS items on ebay. Those items are meant for collectors, costumers or people who like a good project to work on. These items show obvious wear and noticeable flaws. Most of those aren't wearable, or require alot of work to possibly make them wearable.
